Jodrey this weekend?

Hi,

Looking to do the Jodrey or a couple of other wrecks in the Seaway this weekend... last big weekend of the year.

Has the season ended up there now, since we're not finding much luck with boats? Looking at the historical weather for that area it should be similar to April/May in the North East, but without the rough weather. We've dived it in summer, but the only other time we've been to that area is ice diving in February.

Can anyone recommend an operator? Just need a boat really, the rest we're set.

Also, is Memorial Day (the US holiday) a good time to go for 2010?

I'll add a second vote for Jeff at the Rockport Dive Center. Had a great time went I went up there in August.

Jeff is great.
So is Wayne Green, but I'm not sure if his boats are still in the water.

Jeff and Wayne are wonderful. I know Jeff went to Joderay last weekend. If they are not running boats try ABUCS in Brockville. If that fails call Dan at Dive Tech as I can't remember the other Charter operation

I was diving with Jeff this weekend. He still has two boats in the water.

One thing to note is that Jeff is out during the weeks, but back in Rockport on the weekends (he is attending commercial dive school). He may take 2-3 days to get back to you.

The best way to get in touch with him is to call his cell phone (listed on his site Rockport Dive Centre).

p.s. the viz on the Jodrey was incredible this past weekend and the current was down :)

Jeff is doing his commercial diver ticket during the week so he's a bit hard to get a hold of....but keep trying.

Wayne's boats out of the water now.

Left a message with Tom, Dive Tech suggested him too.

Jeff has surfaced from his commercial training, so we're all set to go with him.
Definitely sounds like the vis is good right now.
