| Re: Latest Minute Panic - Red Sea Buy toiletries in the Boots in the airport, which is after check in. Have a phlegmatic attitude towards queues. There's nothing you can do except wait. Bring a book. Oh, and take lots of photos and write a trip report ![]() Janos

| Re: Latest Minute Panic - Red Sea Buy at least one good book at Smiths at the airport - they don't seem to weigh carrier bags (hint) and queues cease to be important when you have a good book! Quote: Buy some Immodium Yes, good idea, but try not to use it! Better out than in, drink lots of water and flush the little buggers out. I suggest that bunging yourself up with immodium is probably only useful in situations such as the long flight home, where queueing for an aeroplane loo might have unpleasant consequences, and that sort of occasion...(And as Janos says, don't forget the piccies for the trip report!) Strange but true - I couldn't find any Tonic in Sharm, except in bars. If you like a G&T, take a bottle... ![]()

| Re: Latest Minute Panic - Red Sea I just got this from Nile news and translated it the best I can. Police in Sharm have been put on a high security alert, the warnings were given with the secret code and are believed to be genuine. Police are going to have to use special measures in the detection. They have been been told that a person or persons will attempt to enter the Red Sea with a yellow box that has been cunningly disguised with pink stickers. The special measures employed will be a mirror and torch fastened on the end of a stick. Specially trained officers will be placing the mirror under vehicles and will avoid looking into the mirror through smiling at the passingers in the vehicles that they are searching. All Red Sea boat captains have been asked to inform the crews and guests to be vigilant and to report any one with a yellow box with pick stickers.
