| Brazil 2010 Oi, tudo bem? I'll be staying in Brazil for a few months in late January through March. Mainly I will be in Sao Paulo/Campinas and Salvador with trips to Natale and Recife, etc.. I'm thinking I will bring my ccr. Wreck diving and tech would be fun if anyone local wants to dive with me. Any recommendations on places to get sofnolime and 02? Feel free to PM me. Dave Faye |

| Re: Brazil 2010 I should be there this week but told the Boss I had plans for DEMA this weekend and couldn't go. Make sure you post a trip report if you get the chance to dive while you're there. I'm sure I'll be making a trip down that way next spring. |

| www.rebreather.com.br | Re: Brazil 2010 Dave, let me know when you come down and we can go to the local Quarry (between Sao Paulo and Campinas), do the local wrecks (2 hours from Sao Paulo) or, if you are in the mood for some car travel, go to some flooded mines. Sorb and O2 is easy in Sao Paulo so no worries, now, evolution tanks... I think they have those "different" valves right? That might be a problem. Salvador has better viz and warmer water (Bruno will show you some great wrecks there), down here the water is 3m viz, 15-18 temperature down at the wrecks. Recife has tons of wrecks and you can organize sorb and O2 there too. I'll PM my contacts. Best, Zé |

| Re: Brazil 2010 Bruno & Ze: Looking forward to meeting you. I have had lots of fun cave and wreck diving in Brazil but it has always been on o/c. I've been too lazy to lug my ccr down. This time I will. I will bring my on-board 2L tanks. I'll have to figure something out for bailout bottles. Maybe I'll just buy a few tanks in Sao Paulo. I'll stay in touch and plan to see you this February. Dave |

| Re: Brazil 2010 Dave, bailout bottles it´s not a problem on Salvador. I have some S40 and S80 for you. And I can also provide some S13/S19 and steel Fx23 onboard bottles, but only with the regular valvers for the Megalodon CCR. Here on Salvador has some wrecks, like Cavo Artemides (the biggest wreck on brazilian water) and Galeão Sacramento (historical site of a Portuguese Galeon). Beyond that I make some deep explorations on some places at 84 to 100+ meters depht if you like to make deep dives. On the gallery has some photos of the dives on Salvador. cheers, Bruno Bruno & Ze: Looking forward to meeting you. | RBW Member | Re: Brazil 2010 Hello Dave! Don't worry about Bail-Out Taks here in Brazil. Most of Brazilian Dive Operators offers 02 (two) S-80 Tanks (air) complimentary with any Boat Charter. Just don't forget to bring your own rig, as well as your Din/Yoke adaptador, since most of Recreational Dive Operators only offers Tanks with Yoke valves (there are also some tek dive operators here in Brazil that have DIN Tanks -with the rigs - for rental). Bruno is a nice guy and I'm sure he will show the best dive spots in Salvador (Bahia). I just recommend talk to him before plan your trip to Salvador, because due to the moon, sometimes there are some very strong currents overthere, and Bruno can help you choose the best dates for diving there (based on the moon dates). Zé is also a very nice guy (he was my CCR Instructor). You will enjoy dive with him! If you decide to travel to any other place (Recife, Fernando de Noronha, Rio de Janeiro, Guarapari) he can give you good infomation! Unfortuntelly (or not) I will be at South Florida until 21-FEB, but if you stay here at São Paulo after such date, I also can join you and Zé for good dives!!! If you like wreck diving, I recommed you to take a look at Naufrágio . This website contains reliable informations (depth, pictures, overall conditions) of ALL knowed and "diveable" brazilian wrecks. If you need anything else here in Brazil, just PM me. Cheers! Anderson |
