Rebreathers in the Maldives

Hi all.
I'm looking to go to the Maldives in October and take my Meg with me.As only a few islands cater for Rebreather's,it looks like we'll be going to the Equator Village in Gan Atoll where Axel Horn now is.
Have any of you been there?

Bandos still does Rebreather's, they have 797 and a good source of o2. Eurodivers will order the stuff in at some resorts if you ask them real nice. Prices arnt as bad as you might think either. There was a thread here where we were discussing this previous. ~I posted the replies from various outfits over there, worth looking at. http://www.rebreatherworld.com/rebre...light=maldives

Dont limit yourself to Gan, nice place when the Airforce pay for you to be there. Dont know what its like now but its a fair hike from Male.

If you pick the right place this time of year, then expect to see Hammerheads. Soooooo cool.
