| Re: France Attacks America (Optima versus MEG) I think the new title for the trip is catchy! Yea - thats it... too busy diving....Monkey's 1st Annual Dive Rite OptimaPalooza Nekton Pilot NW Bahamas Hurricane Alley Livaboard Dive Trip! With the exception of Monkey's, because it's his trip, it's rather sad that we are allowing the Megs aboard? Not that I'm advocating we be exclusive to other types of rebreathers, but since the plain looking Megs received no support at all from their brethren Meg divers , as usual , they're probably going to feel out of place, like a bunch of ugly and dusty abandoned and lonely old farm plow horses walking onto the track at the start of a race consisting of well groomed and adequately trained and supported thoroughbreds!!![]() |

| Very well played Erik! Whoa, whoa,whoa.......But James I don't think you should be so taken aback by this - Erik's gesture was really just one of good will. If I understand from the trip thread correctly, even your household is already being divided and conquered. I think Erik's calculation of the appropriate number of hats is right on the money - 6 for the current Optima divers, 3 for the uninformed Meg divers who will be converts by trip's end and 1 for Mrs. Monkey who is finishing her Optima training with Howard. 10 hats and stickers for 10 happy Optima divers ... it's like the statue of Liberty all over again! ![]() Merci beaucoup Erik! 1. How did I end up pulled into this mess? 2 I am only training on an Optima so I can keep my friends close (the Megs) and my enemies closer (The Optimas). If it's going to be like this, I will stay OC. You boys started this fight....you boys can finish it. |

| Re: France Attacks America (Optima versus MEG) Oh… and Mempilot and Patipro deserve special thanks for leaving me, Netmage and Captain Oliver twisting in the wind as the only 3 MEG divers on this trip. Sorry mate! Just returned from some heaven diving in Bonaire. I missed the ferry by one day!BTW, my ears on the street heard about the DR shipment in advance. I didn't want to spoil it for you guys! ![]()

| Re: France Attacks America (Optima versus MEG) We Kiss divers will continue to remain neutral and watch from the sidelines. Typical for a Canadian product, don't you think? ![]()

And I think I heard the accomodations for the Optima team will be in the bilge... ![]() |
