If we blow out in the ocean, I'll be there sort of early, have a BBQ to attend in the afternoon. Plan left side, in the deep hole. Come and visit. I'll bring the rEvo too if anyone wants to see it.
Dave,

We're planning to be there one day this weekend. Sunday looks like a better bet than Saturday, weather-wise. But since you're going to be there on Saturday ....

We'll take a walk over from our usual spot on the peninsula.

How about a few more details. Wreck, depart time, price, who has it booked?

Re: Dutch Springs Sat May 31

I'll be at Dutch on Sat with the YBOD. I've been blown out too many times this spring, it's time we had good weather on the weekends.

I haven't met many of the people on this thread but if I recognise anyone I'll say hi.

Re: Dutch Springs Sat May 31

Definately a blow out for tomorrow so will be at the quarry.

Have the Mark-15 and a rEvo all loaded and ready to go.

I'll be on the far left side, in the deep hole. It's the best spot in the quarry, so forget that peninsula nonsense and come over to the other side. There's actually some nice pretty spots over there where the old pumping station is located on the bottom. I'll be in my old blue Chevy Suburban, recognizable by the Narragansett Pier Dive license plate frame, Golem Gear sticker, and rust.. . Plate is NJ MZF-85K. If you come over and find the truck and not me, leave a note on the thing or just hang out. I'll be doing some freediving excercises as well, so if you see a guy in a brown camo spearfishing wetsuit with 1 metre long carbon fibre fins, that's me.

Cell is (908) 752-1853 if anyone wants to track me down.

Let's have fun!

Dave

Re: Dutch Springs Sat May 31

jeez Dave, the pump station is the worst spot in the quarry, its really cold and the vis sucks and its a bloody long swim to the platforms and the helicopter. much better to park behind the pizza shop and walk down to the peninsula.

you keep this up and there will be no parking near the WORST spot in the quarry.....................

dont go to the pump house, dont go youll be sorry.............

unless you have a rEvo.

Re: Dutch Springs Sat May 31

FYI for the locals. I was called early monday morning and told that the Venture III is not CCR friendly (OC and SCR only).Sucks being all loaded and ready to go, then find out your going to work instead. Hope they change their policy some day.
