Tiger Sharks vs Megalodon

I recently had an awe inspiring opportunity to dive with five 4 meter long Tiger sharks off Aliwal Shoal in South Africa. My Meg performed flawlessly and gave me an intimate experience with these amazing animals - with no bubbles. I have to admit though, it was tough keeping track of your PO2 while keeping track of the 5 Tigers and about 20 Black Tips.

Re: Tiger Sharks vs Megalodon

WOW!

All I can say is " man your crazy"!

I have swam w/ sharks before but there are 3 I absolutely never want to see in nature. The Tiger is one, Great white and Bull are the others.

Glad you still have all your pieces attatched

Regards,
Andy

I'm impressed. I don't think I want to dive with Tigers, myself.......I'll stick with our local 6 gills- they're plenty exciting.

Re: Tiger Sharks vs Megalodon

Fabulous pics! Good thing you weren't the only one in the water

Thanks for sharing these with us.

I've dived with hammerheads at Cocos and bull sharks off the Costa Rica coast but never with Tigers.
