Right now there are a few things that seem uncertain.
My cave course looks to be cancelled because i am not able to make it in time. So i might not even be going to Gainsville at all, so guys i am open to suggestions. domestic flights are SO cheap in the US so travelling is no problem.

Latest update!

Booked flights now
Will leave Stockholm on May 2nd arriving late evening in San Fransisco and head back again to Stockholm from Miami on may 25th late afternoon.
In between here i am booked between 6-9th of May for Java One in SF.
Anyone else going?
Also going to Divetech 2008 on the 17th to 24th.
Other than that i am flexible, as i was not able to attend the cave course.
Right now i am not sure if i will bring my drysuit with me, due to weight limitations.
I am not bringing the tanks for the meg, as i hope i will be able to get some over there. But i still have a limitation of 2 bags 32kg each. And i am planning to buy a new camera (D300) over there as well.
Anyone feel like buying it and i can give you cash when i arrive. I want to order ot of state to avoid state tax.

So guys/girls suggestions where to do please...

I am planning to go to Florida sunday or early next week.
Anyone in Florida that can recommend me some cheap housing?

What's the plan for Florida? You mentioned Gainsville?
You planning on staying there or going to stay cave country, to the ocean?

Might want to check with Florida Scrub group.

I mentioned Gainsville since i was planning to do full cave with Jill Heinnerth, but the course started today and i was not able to get away form San Francisco in time for the course. So now i am pretty much free until InnerSpace.

Well Florida has tons of options.

There is Gainsville area or cave country. This area is very rural (in parts) and interesting. However, you will need a cave certifcation or be invloved in a class like Jill's. There are a few people that teach in the region if Jill cannot accomidate your needs. Check the rebreather friendly section or the map for Florida.

There is diving in the panhandle, might want to check with Wakulla dive center. They do all types of training (listed here.) Plus they could advise on diving the new aircraft carrier that was recently sunk.

If this does not work then you might want to enquire with some of the coastal operations. Mark at Fill Express might have some ieas for his region.

Plus, there is also the keys.

Again drop a line in the florida scrubs group- they are very active and will have tons of ideas.

Well, i am arriving to Miami tomorrow night, it's a long flight from San Francisco...
But i should be at my hotel, in Ft. Lauderdale, by tomorrow night.
Then i am free for diving the whole week for anyone that is interested.
