![]() ![]() | Puerto Galera in May/June Has anyone dived Puerto Galera in May & June? If so, is a dry suit a good idea for long/deep dives, or will a decent wet suit suffice? Graham |

Graham PG is wetsuit diving year round, but having the body of a greak god I dont have a lot of insulation like Chasey so I do get cold on hangs with last stop longer than 30 mins so I dive dry if doing dives with long hangs. If your just bouncing around reef (min-no deco) then wetsuit is fine. My wetsuit is a 7mm, worn with a hood

![]() | Re: Puerto Galera in May/June Im heading back in late May this year. From my experience May is really hot, water is very warm, so wetsuit would be fine. For long dives/scootering I wear a scubapro combined vest/hood. Hugh |

![]() ![]() | Enjoy PG! It's an incredible dive spot, one of my faves. I dove OC 3+ times a day while out there and I got by with a 5 mil. Towards the end of a weeks worth of dives I was starting to get a bit cold after some of the longer/deeper dives but then again I am 6'1 and 175 and I tend to get cold pretty easily =) You'll have a great time.
