Further exploration into the Pearse Resurgence NZ - depth 182m

I'm pleased to announce that Pearse Resurgence NZ, has yielded additional cave and depth....

Our Dr. Harry (MK15.5) supported by Grant Pearce and Andrew Bowie successfully reached a depth of 182m in the cave before it started to ascend again.

They are currently driving back to Christchurch preparing to fly back to OZ where no doubt further details will become available.

An awesome effort, well done guys...

Well done Harry and the team - thats one heck of a dive!!

Given the duration of deco in that freezing cold water and the remoteness of the site its one hell of a feat!

Fantastic news. Well done to Harry and the team.
It's difficult to see how further exploration is possible with reasonable safety, but let's hope it can be done!
