Looking for the ultimate Red Sea Live Aboard

Candy and I just returned from a week of Skiing in Lake Tahoe, What can I say, it was great. Now Candy wants to dive the the Red Sea via liva aboard. We both like the Aggressor fleet, and was looking for a boat that provides top quality service and not too many divers aboard. Anyone want to make some recomandations?

Re: Looking for the ultimate Red Sea Live Aboard

I can really recommend either the Obession or the Grand Sea Serpent.
More info: Sea Serpent Fleet Liveaboards Red Sea: M/Y Obsession

We did around 10 trips with these people and the service is above and beyond (for Egypt)

There are other alternatives. If you really want to get pampered, check out this website: Royal Evolution homepage - Red Sea liveaboards, Red Sea scuba diving

Re: Looking for the ultimate Red Sea Live Aboard

I can honestly say Candy loves to be pampered. I'll contace Royal Evolution about this trip. We will most likely do it around Thanksgiving day for our annual big trip.

Re: Looking for the ultimate Red Sea Live Aboard

It totaly depends what your after.

For me i want a boat that will alow me to do the diving i want to do. As a result there are only a couple of dive guides ill go with and ill dive what ever boat they are on.

I prety much hate booking a slot on a liveaboard now. Id rather book the whole boat, fill it with like minded divers and send my itinary to them before we even get there.

Even then I have had problems but its better than just taking a chance on some 20 year old guide with 150dives to his name telling you you cant go below 30m or go off on your own in a buddy pair.

Hi, We still need a few people to join us on MY Tranquility 44m long steel beauty where we have only 20 people on leaving from Sharm el sheikh 30 March untill 6 April.
On 17/10/08 I hired Infinity 36m long max 14 divers on it TEC only, leaving from Hurghada.
We have Booster, helium, sorb, CCR cyinders and the divemasters are our security divers, all tec instr, so no hand hold diving...
greets
Yves

I tell at home what I have done or booked, not what I am going to do... better to ask forgiveness than permission
And indeed fantastic, I organised quite a bit of Tec trips with different operators but Emperor are the ones I prefer, simply professional!
