![]() | Wrecks in Croatia (Minesweeper, HMS????) near Umag Hi Guys! My family and I probably drive to Croatia in July this year for a holiday! We intend to be based somewhere in or quite near to the town Umag on the west of the Pula peninsula. I'm told about a wreck (A kind of minesweeper or so) that should be quite intact with antiaircrafts and amonition, but I don't know the exactly name of it. The wreck should be loacated about 11NM (About 20km) west from the coast of the Pula peninsula, at about 25m of depth. Help on further information on this wreck will be highly appreciated, as well as recomendations on reliable divingcentres with daily boattrips to this and other wrecks. If necessary I can bring my own oxygen, but would prefer a rebreatherfriendly divingcenter that provides pure oxygen as well. All the best and thanks a lot in advance.

![]() | Re: Wrecks in Croatia (Minesweeper, HMS????) near Umag Hi again! A little update on our holidayplans: First of all, I think IN468 is right about the name of the minesweeper-wreck, so thanks alot for your help! :-) The holiday departments left at Umag were quite expensive, so we ordered one (Babariga) in Vod(n)jan instead (Should be a few kilometeres north from Pula). I'll be happy if anyone can recomend a divingcenter as near as possible to Vod(n)jan or even Babariga, which is the name of the department-area. If my plan works out, I am going to visit the HMS Corleanus at least once and defineately the Baron Gautch........ Any recomended diveoperators near to Vod(n)jan/Babriga? More info on "Must go" divespots in the area are more than welcome. Specially places were I can go from the beach and make some underwaterphotography, while my family enjoying the sun and the water.
