![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Donegal, Ireland 3rd - 8th August 2008 (CCR Trimix) There are a couple of spaces on a land based trip (3rd - 8th August) where we plan to dive wrecks in the 65m - 85m range off the coast of Donegal (Irish Republic). It'll be a mixture of the classic wrecks plus some rarely dived or unknowns. However, the Justicia is one that's on the list to do, weather permitting. Diving will be from a 47' AquaStar boat that's fitted out with benches and a lift. There'll be 8 divers on the boat which is located near Downing in County Donegal. Accommodation is available through the skipper or you can book a holiday cottage. All CCR divers are welcome, however, you'll need to be certified for these depths. No Trimix is available locally, so from a logistics standpoint, we need to restrict trip to CCR only. Air & O2 available from a local PADI centre, but we need to be sulf-sufficient as regards Trimix/Hellium. If your coming from the UK mainland, you can get the ferry from Stranraer that leaves at 10am on the Saturday (2/August). As your not diving within the UK, you'll need to have diving insurance such as that provided by DAN (Europe) and your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). If your interested or have any questions (including estimated costs), please PM me via this forum. We're considering a second week (10th - 15th August), however, we don't have the boat reserved with the skipper, so this may not be possible. But if your interested in the 2nd week, please let me know. Note: I'm posting on behalf of trip organiser. Jonathan |
