Montauk Deep Wrecks with Sea Turtle Charters

In 2008 Sea Turtle Charters will be offering both overnight and single day trips to the deep wrecks off Montauk, NY from June through Sept. The schedule will be on the website www.seaturtlecharters.com and private groups are always welcome to schedule their own trip.
The wrecks will include, but not be limited to:

NORNESS - The first sunk by the German sub U-123 in 1942. We been diving the stern section with a max. depth of 285'. This wreck is worth the trip from anywhere.

COIMBRA - The second victim of U-123. Max. depth here is 185'. We started diving a large dry dock last season close to this site, also in 180', the two would make for a great overnight trip.

SPIKEFISH - US submarine in 260'.

NUMBERS - We have numbers for wreck searches up to 300+'.

BLOCK ISLAND -[i] "The Bermuda of the North"[i] There are many great wrecks around this small island, including the submarines U-853 and the USS Bass.

It would be a huge understatement to say the Sea Turtle is rebreather friendly and most needs (bottles, gases, 'lime, etc.) can be met.
