| Has anyone traveled with a booster? I'm looking for advice on how to handle bringing a booster on an airline. I'm planning on putting it with checked baggage, has anyone has issues doing this? Any advice? Thank you, |

I packed it in my check in baggage, TSA pulled me up about it after the initial x-ray, simply showed them the manual (I kept that in my carry on bag) and they were cool with it. As for coming into Aus - didn't get quizzed at all. |

| Re: Has anyone traveled with a booster? Thank you, I'll print a manual, good idea. Has anyone put one in checked baggage? Right now I have 5 EAC cartridges my wetsuit and the booster. works out to 49 lbs or just under 23 kilos. But I'm nervous what the TSA folks might do. Thanks for any advice, |

| Re: Has anyone traveled with a booster? I've traveled to several foreign countries with my Jetsam booster. The only place I ever had a problem was in San Francisco when I carried it as carry on in its Pelican case and a new hire with TSA spent like 20 minutes trying to figure out what to do.

| Re: Has anyone traveled with a booster? I've also travelled with the Jetsam in hold luggage and have passed through the US with it in transit. No problems. Manual is a good idea. Perhaps put a photocopy of at least the front sheet in the case to explain what it is. They will (in the US even if passing through) open your cases and inspect gear so dont padlock it if going through the US, cause they will saw it off, or if easier, saw your case. Use cable ties to close it, to stop the opportunists, and dont forget to gaffer tape a few spare cable ties to the outside of the case so that when it is inspected they can re-cable tie it for you (they will do this usually). |

| Re: Has anyone traveled with a booster? Hi, I just took my Stanstead Fluid Power booster ( from gasbooster co uk) to the recent DEMA show without problem. It went into checked baggage but i was tempted to take it in carry on because its just 3kg or so. In the states the TSA people clearly opened my bag to check it but just left their leaflet inside to say they had done it cheers |
