Looking for advice for a Truk Lagoon trip at the end of Jan

A friend of mine and I are contemplating a trip to Truk in late jan or early feb. Im looking for suggestions on how to get there and what dive ops to use. Still have not decided wether to go with a live aboard or to stay on land yet and if Im going to go opencircuit or ccr. How hard is it to get scrubber and O2 there will be a major factor in deciding which rig to use.

Any and all advice is appreciated.

thanks
Phil

I dove my Inspo there on the Odyssey a couple of years ago. Had a wonderful time. Had to bring my own sorb, but I think they were shipping in a palet of sorb to keep on hand. Very tech friendly, and a great crew, boat and food. 5 dives per day, and they are moored right to ther wreck, so no messing around going to and from the sites.

I agree the Odyssey is a first rate dive opperation. We went in 2003 and everyone dove CCR.www.trukodyssey.com
