Hi all :-) We are compiling a list of Rebreather Friendly destinations. Can you help? Please tell us about Rebreather Friendly Destinations by clicking on this link http://www.rebreatherworld.com/desti...php?action=add, so we can update our Database. Anything from the USA to the UK to the Red Sea to the Carribean, to Australia, and everythign inbetween!

Please Include..

Location, Contact Details, Diving there, Whats available to buy / hire, and of course, the map reference if possible.

Deep Blue Divers ( Deep Blue Divers Technical Diving Rebreather Nitrox Trimix Tauchen TDI IART Phuket Thailand ) here offer MOD1 training on the Inspiration and they also teach the Ray. DBD can rent out cylinders or even the whole unit if required and they can sell you 'lime.

In addition to the normal recreational trips from Phuket DBD also run technical day trips to dive HMS Vestal or the SS Petaling, they can also take you to some very interesting pinnacles in the 40-80m zone.

They have full tek facilities at

Dahab.
located in the La Reine Hotel

Sharm el Sheikh
located in the Rosetta Hotel

Hurghada
located in the Hilton Resort Hotel

All locations can provide cylinders, sofnolime, equipment and spares as well as 02 and helium to 200 bar.
Courses available up to Inspiration mixed gas Instructor level with TDI.

Diving: since a trip with 10 Aussie divers in April'07, offering a "Hammerhead Tour" - diving Japanese Marus, sunk by USS Hammerhead in 1945, depth up to 78msw, many other wrecks, eg USS Lagarto (refer to website), short (2d) or longer (10d) trips
On board: constant flow TMX, O2 to 200bar (we left our booster pump on board), can supply sorb, bailout tanks, weights

A trip report from our recent Aussie exploration tour (12 marks in 8 days - 3 new Marus, 1 steel trawler, 1 steel barge, 2 wooden fishing boats) will follow soon! Great trip.

The Florida S.C.R.U.B.s are in the middle of compiling such a list that spans from Jupiter (Martin County, North of the Palm Beach area) through Key West, Florida. We have done the preliminary round of boats so far. However, we have a long way to go on the shops.

This will take a while to complete. However, when done, it will make life for the rebreather diver traveling to South Florida much better.
