Looking for a bit of Aussie help... Hello all, I'm planning on bringing my Rebreather to the Solomons this winter, Bilikiki is all set but they require I bring an appropriate connection to their O2 bottle. Once I have that connector then I'll need to adapt it to my booster line. Does anyone know where I can get a O2 connection into an Australian O2 bottle? Thank you very much, Sitting in the states, feeling quite stupid...

Re: Looking for a bit of Ausie help... The easy way to do this is just fit a bullnose male fitting to your booster O2 input hose. What thread is your hose ???? regards Baz

| Re: Looking for a bit of Ausie help... Baz - The other way to do it is to have DIN connectors on your whip and use the bullnose to DIN adapter you did up for me. That way you can go from cylinder to cylinder and then change to a G cylinder quickly without worrying about quick connects etc.

Re: Looking for a bit of Ausie help... Hi Rob ... that works but it would mean he would need a DIN to US Bullnose adaptor for his whip when he gets back home. May way is not as neat but its cheaper. regards Baz

Re: Looking for a bit of Aussie help... Sorry Guys, I'm not full up to speed yet on part names. I think the G connector (part that goes direct into the O2 bottle) is what I need. A quick disconnect would be great, as I have one on my US version right now. As to what size, good question, I just received my parts all nicely set up. the prime question still remains, where do I get the "G" connector for the bottle. I figure once I have that in hand, I can just park myself at a parts store and figure out what I need to get the quick-disconnect to work. Thank you very much for helping me out!
