| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Southern California - Farnsworth Banks Hi all. I have a boat chartered in September, going to Farnsworth Banks. This is one of the coolest dives in California. It's a pinnacle that starts at about 80 ft and goes down from there. Lots of purple hydro corals and viz can be 100+ feet (on a good day). I'm thinking of making this a rebreather trip, if anyone is interested. The boat can accommodate around 30 divers, but I would like to run a limited load of Rebreather divers only. The crew is awesome and the food is great. If you'd be interested in going, PM me and I'll start making a list. |

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Southern California - Farnsworth Banks The date is September 15th (Saturday). If anyone needs to come out the night before, they have nice bunks on the boat. The boat is The Great Escape (yes, they allow rebreathers now). If I can get enough people, it will be a rebreather only boat, otherwise I will split it 50/50 and maybe have the OC people do 3 dives and the rebreather divers do 2 longer dives. |

Interesting how Tim was vocal about his insurance not covering rebreathers and therefore no rebreathers allowed until he lost his contracts with Sports Chalet. Hmmm...probably just a coincidence that the insurance company came around at just the right time. The boat is The Great Escape (yes, they allow rebreathers now). | New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Southern California - Farnsworth Banks I don't get involved in politics. As far as I'm concerned, everyone can run their business the way they see fit. Please, let's not turn this thread into a "bashing" session. It's a nice boat to go out on, the crew is friendly and the food is good. Let's keep this thread dedicated to those who want to go on the trip. Thanks. |
