| Doria, Norness trip July 23rd 2007 I am looking for a qualified ccr diver to take my space on the Independence II , due to a unfortunate fight with an insurance company over a store burglary that happened over seven months ago…. This is two separate trips on the Independence II that departs evening of July 23rd , 2007 ( yes it is only a couple weeks away) for Norness with full dive day on 24th and one dive day on the 25th, and the second trip departs evening of July 28th with a full day of diving on 29th and single dive day on 30th. My CCR dive buddy is also diving the days in-between charters for those who may wish more days of diving. The combined trip expense is $2275 and I am happy to take half the price if you can take the space….only $1137 ! Email me directly goingunder@earthlink.net if you are interested in diving the wrecks on these dates. This is combined trip for both dates, sorry I cannot split the trip. Regards Ron Benson Deep Thought Below is some information from the Captain All divers must be approved by Captain - This means a letter or testament from a party who will endorse your dive qualifications. IMPORTANT ITEMS: Dive Equip. (tanks, deco gas, underwater lights, strobes, dry suit, ect.) Sleeping Bag, Pillow, Towels, Sea Sick Medicine. All divers must carry an emergency up-line with a lift bag in case of emergency. No diver will be allowed in the water with out this equipment. Independence II has plenty of outlets for charging your batteries .We also provide a micro wave, A/C, hot and cold fresh water, and satellite music. All divers must have a standard medical exam within 1 year of trip |

At this time if someone could take the Doria space - split the $1137 for either trip. Good Diving P.S. The senior vice president of the insurance company accused me of fraud since I had advertised one of my stolen ccr units on my web page for less money than "replacement cost" which is the policy. On my web page I had $1200 teaching revenue attached to the rebreather sale as condition of the transaction which I can't recover unless I purchase a new unit for more money and sell it for less??? so now you know the truth - Ron Benson is a Fraud - coming from a person so well respected in the dive insurance industry that hurts There has to be a special section in hell for insurance companies. | Re: Doria, Norness trip July 23rd 2007 I have agreed with Ron to take the Norness spot at 1/2 the 1137. There is no way that I can make the Doria, too, so that spot is still up for the taking at the other half of 1137. If I remember correctly, the Doria trip was priced at 1400+. $569 for a Doria trip is an absolute steal. |
