Pro Tec Playa, now supporting CCR in Cozumel

Those of you who have dived with the Pro Tec Team in Playa Del Carmen Mexico will be pleased to know that Cozumel is now fully CCR supporting, I received this news release from Matt and Scott and asked if I could repost it here, so read on!

Cozumel Release from Pro Tec Playa

The ProTec Team is very happy to announce that our Cozumel Operation is up and running perfectly. This news is a number of months late but we wanted to get all the details worked out with some groups prior to releasing the news.

For those of you that have been around the last 10 years, you know that ProTec has been operating and running dive trips to Cozumel upon customer request or when we wanted to go diving there. Now with more customer demand and that we are constantly diving on the island, our operation is going to step up a notch.

Again, nothing much has changed. When ocean diving in Cozumel you will be diving with Dario as usual. Dario has been dive mastering on the island for over 20 years and has been “our” divemaster on the island since before the day we opened ProTec in Playa del Carmen. Prior to ProTec in Playa del Carmen Scott and Dario have been working together in Cozumel for over 10 years, catering to divers and offering custom diving packages.

ProTec now has taken Cozumel Diving to a new level. The Rebreathers, the normoxic trimix, the decompression gases, everything we do, is now available on the island. All of these services can as well be packaged together with our mainland services of cave, cavern, and deep diving to make custom packages divers just dream of.

Our focus of diving is safe and fun diving for divers of all levels. We split our groups so that divers are diving with like minded and like wise experienced divers. Private boats are available for flat rate fees to give small groups exactly the dives they are looking for, at whatever time of the day they might choose.

This service has always been a favorite of our divers and we are clearly continuing this service.
