| S21 M.I.B. ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Rebreather diving in Bikini Hi, browsing the forums, I didn't find any information about rebreather diving on the wrecks in Bikini atoll. Are you aware of any rebreather divers already being there? Any rebreather-friendly dive resort/liveaboard in the area? I guess sorb, tanks and heavy luggage should be a nightmare... Cheers

Cheers Try John Garvin http://o2technicaldiving.com/main/ex..._bikini_atoll/ Having been on one of Johns Rebreather only trips Id say its a heck of a lot less hassle and cheaper than DIY to these remote locations.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | To date the only media material I know about was about Jeff Bozanic Prism trip in 2002. Since then they have a newer airplane. http://www.bikiniatoll.com/Rebreather.html I know that Tom Mount did two weeks there a few years back but I am not sure if he was diving his MEG rebreather. Also to date I know of no live a board that is serving the Atoll, and since it is controlled by the authority if the Bikini tribe good luck with that. Just as a side note- next year they should be sinking the aircraft carrier off of Pensacola Florida. It will be swamped but I am sure it would be cheaper than flying to Bikini. If my memory serves me right they supply boat visits twice a year so plan on ordering supplies early. Regards, Andrew |

![]() | Mad Dog ran a trip there last year. Many rebreathers were on hand but a few of us also dived doubles. I plan on going back with Meg... still waiting... I'm not sure if Andrew plans on returning this year. Cheers Nick

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi http://www.rebreatherworld.com/showp...8&postcount=22 Took 5 KISSes and an Inspo (and 2 OC) to Bikini in 03 - takes a bit of forward planning but is perfectly achievable. Keith |
