Divin' in Malta Hi Everyone I'm trying to put together a dive trip to Malta and was wondering whether anyone has any recomendations for dive centres there. I'm looking at doing the wrecks between 40 and 70m and so would need a place that is set up to do this sort of diving i.e. twin set and side mount hire, Helium, Oxygene and dive sorb for the rebreather guys. We would also like to dive from a hard boat rather than a RIB. Cheers Ian

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | HI , if interested send me on this e mail pataw@onvol.net and tell me what exectly do you need, and your dates. I will run at some shops and give back some feed back. If you book yourself i assume that it will cost you more. Well,we will try to figure out something. From your part if you have been looking somewhere see what price they gave you and we will try to make a better deal. I will give you some prices and the shops if you want so you can check from your part. As for shore dives myself or my friends will take you without having to pay for a guide. ![]()

Re: Divin' in Malta We used Lawrence at Strand Diving a couple of years ago, they had everything we needed, O2, He, sofnolime, bailout cylinders, even a scrubber spacer ring as one of our group forgot to pack his! He also arranged some boat diving for us as well. I seem to recall some reasonable prices too. Check the link below. TDI-SDI Malta Regards M

Re: Divin' in Malta Hello Ybod, me and a few friends are going in Malta next month with a german (?) dive center called Madshark. We've been there in 2006 with o/c and he and his wife did their utmost best to provide us with the sort of diving we wanted (wrecks only, no reef, fish etc...) we were so happy with his service and reasonalbe prices that we are paying him another visit with our vision's; btw we are taking the sofno and fillings from nearby Strand Diving who works together with Lothar from Madshark johan

Re: Divin' in Malta could'nt recommend tec deep blue enough - been there numerous times now both on open and closed circuit and have done nearly all the wrecks malta has to offer the dive gear in the centre is top class and the crew there are more than helpfull a lot of maltas wrecks are accessible through shore diving as has been said however to get to a lot of the war wrecks like the poly, the stubborn, the schnell boats and the HMs southwold you must use local boats which can be organised through the dive centre.
