Great, I am thinking of taking a local with me on the first trip ease my way in, any thoughts? Also what wrecks would advise, I have a list with positions but would be interested in your input, How do I get permission to dive the site of Konigsberg, or is it a waste of time?

Koningsburg no longer there !..
Would love to help you with sites and positions.
Possibly best to come out first , ill show you around then you can advertise the best 20 wrecks.
Have a few locals who would love to day trip if your quite between contracts.
Were getting lots of orcas here now.. there good to watch .
Check out www.skovheim.org brilliant site for Norwegian wrecks.

Hi all,
Myself and my buddy are booked on one of these trips with John in July next year, but will be travelling from Ireland with our units, sofno, cylinders, stages, drysuits, and the rest...whats the best option, is it ferry to Hollyhead -> drive to Newcastle -> DFDS ferry to Bergen?

Did Scapa last year and drove to Belfast and got the ferry to Stranraer. It's a great road up to Belfast and then the journey to Newcastle from there is a lot shorter (and you avoid Manchester and other heavy traffic areas).

Dfds prices are really high in the summer season. might be an idea to ship your stuff early or pay excess baggage, could work out cheaper and give you more time.
