| Rebreather supplies in Maui ????? Hello, I'm hoping someone has lead on where to get O2 and better yet supplies in Maui (Kehei). B&B Scuba can not help, they are not providing any kind of Rebreather type service during my stay. Anyone have any ideas? |

| Re: Rebreather supplies in Maui ????? Hello, You could ship your scrubber prior to your trip (B&B may let you ship to them), and get oxygen at Gaspro in Kahului (near the airport). You would need a trans-fill whip, but it's one way around it.I'm hoping someone has lead on where to get O2 and better yet supplies in Maui (Kehei). B&B Scuba can not help, they are not providing any kind of Rebreather type service during my stay. Anyone have any ideas? Aloha, Charlie

| Re: Rebreather supplies in Maui ????? I'm surprised that B&B can't help, I was just out there and they had plenty of sorb & O2 ?? They also allow 'breathers on their boat (don't even try asking MDS to dive from their boats! ) Can I ask why BN&B can't help? I have also dove using Extended Horizons (call first) and Mike Severns (sp?)An alternative is Maui Dreams in Kihei for O2 & sorb. I had to bring my own 19 cuft tanks but rented a bailout (brought my own stage kit materials). Pacific Dive in Lahina has O2 only. Good luck and enjoy the diving. Bob ![]() |

| Re: Rebreather supplies in Maui ????? Slightly off subject but there is some great diving off the beach of the Four Seasons. Go to the left leaving the beach along the rocks and out. If you are diving pure o2, it can be grand with depts of 20 feet. I had a manta swimming around me for 15 or more minutes. They rent scooters at the dive operation at the Four Seasons...that makes the shore diving a real rush. Tom

| Re: Rebreather supplies in Maui ????? B&B would be my first stop too. So I find it odd that... oh, is Brad traveling? I think he had a trip coming up... Then Maui Dreams... I did a shore scooter dive with Maui Dreams out to the Carthaginian (whaling ship that used to be mooring in Lahaina) which is now an artificial reef about 0.6mi off the coast. Much much fun!!! all rebreathers! good luck! hoppyinca |
