I just returned from Pensacola diving the Oriskany. The conditions could have been better but the boat and shop were excellent. Boat Home - Viking Diving Tim and crew were top notch.

How were conditions/water temp?

SAT. VIS 50-60 SEAS 3-4 8 second intervals down to 4 by the end of the day and building (washing machine) a bit rough but very doable.
SUN. worse and building so we called it.

Viking divers offered some other wrecks closer in but it was still a 50/50 shot we would get wet.

I was impressed with Tim the captain/owner. He and his DM were very safe and professional. Apparently he has been running in Pensacola for over 15 years and it showed. I am rebooking for the 1st week in April. Hopefully conditions will be more favorable.

I'll vouch for Tim--he's got quite a following from folks all around the region. Last dove Mighty 'Mo in September--was hoping some big fish would move in this winter (if you can call it winter in N. FL...

I'll vouch for MBT, they have treated me well over the last ten years...Tim seems to do a good job also.
