Yep it would mean getting sent off the football pitch over in the uk ,
Getting the diving red card is much the same , your sent off to do as you like, dive wise ,that is

Re: Highest Previous Certification Before CCR

There is a group of divers in our sport who think that it would be nice to hold back anyone new in the sport or anyone wanting to do something different, presumably as a way of maintaining their own self importance.

So on that basis is Hyper mega, Trimix, instructor , Phlogistom breathing roughty toughty diver really a high enough rating before we are allowed to go to the toilet on our own. Clearly some think not.

Lets be realistic CCR diving is no more difficult that open circuit diving, and if Jaques Cousteau (sorry about the spelling) had not screwed up diving by inventing the demand valve we would have all been on rebreathers for the past 200 years.

Basic Nitrox Diver is more that sufficient, don't let's delude yourselves.
However, it does not sell many courses, maybe that's the issue.
Happy none bubbling

Think you have posted on the wrong thread M8

don’t think one post has said what the minimum should be ,
Its just a pole ,
No one is saying you must be this or that before you can dive a box ,

I needed about 40 mins on the unit, and then I was happy diving it,

I have a m8 who is just finished Basic Nitrox
He is doing mod1 in two week time ,
I have been round to his house a few time s in the last few week
To help he a long
