Maybe a little off topic, but I have put in my order for my Meg today and it looks like I will be training with Andrew Driver some time in late spring/early summer. Can't wait.

I am very happy to announce that my instructor Andy has my Meg! So I ordered in Jan 15th and it came in around March 25th. Excellent time. Now I have to wait on my Golem BOV.

Hopefully, I will get over to his place next week to assemble it and hold it. Now this is a bright spot in a landscape of dreary futility!

Picked up my Meg today. Put it together and posed for some pictures. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am. I have dive OC for at least another month and a half then on to CCR. I am kinda bummed about the delay in training but such is life. No reason to hurry things at this point. I have been patient so far. Plus the delay is because I will be in Florida cave diving. So that isn't such a bad reason to be delayed.

To answer the question about the electronics, 2.01K.

Edited a little because it made little sense. Not that it is much better now.

Don't know how you're going to do it. I would never have been able to wait that long to start training, in fact I was going crazy after just one week.

You should have looked into doing your training while in North Florida. I did mine with Jill Heinerth in the springs. I'm glad I did it there rather then in the ocean, no boat ride, no time limits, great viz and good conditions everyday. Turned out great.

Congrats, you're going to love it. If you make it to South Florida sometime let us know. We've got a group of 5 or 6 CCR divers so we can usually do whatever we want when we get that number of people together.
