| Cap Ron scourge of the NW ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | CCR Training Tips, tricks and secrets for Instructors Ok, all you CCR instructors, lets hear about your training tools. What special equipment, techniques, and little tricks do you keep up your sleeve to task your students? whats on your training slate? How do you simulate emergencys? how do you communicate with your students? Lets share the wealth! Please!, keep it civil, we all know our favorite unit is the best, no need to preach to the choir here, just post your suggestions, they can defend themselves. If someone has an issue with anothers suggestion, take it to them via PM and let them edit if they are convinced. here is where we can all benefit!

| Re: CCR Training Tips, tricks and secrets for Instructors Good idea Ron, I hope insrtuctors will contribute and not worry too much about giving away trade secrets. But they need to make money, so I can't blame them if they don't. The main area of interest for me is the stress management stuff-How do different instructors find the highest level of stress that the students can handle without it being counterproductive? I hate the "sports" analogie as there's nothing about tec diving that's truly competitive, but the older I get, the more I realise how much high performance in any human endevour is related to how people manage stress... |

But there is no secret: How do you simulate emergencys? how do you communicate with your students? - Air gun for leaks on the rig - Flash cards for scenarios - hand communication or direct action on the rig for "surprise" skills etc BTW congratulation for your new qualification Happy New Year Cheers
