| Re: Discuss the BOOM article here Food for thought here folks. We often critisize people who ask questions about things that should be covered in MOD1 and then often the first reply is "Who was your instructor?". I can say that after my meg training I had to review quite a bit of it because there was a lot of material covered and I may have missed important bits without knowing it. I remember my CCR course. I was so excited to start using the machine that I did not put a lot of attention to some stuff. Luckily I am glad my instructor covered almost everything you wrote. Now, I get to learn something and I thing it is very important. Even some instructors forget to practice their own skills. Overconfidence? Who knows. I try to practice with my friends, by the end of a dive, some emergency skills almost every time we dive together. Although Ron's article covers a very fundamental bit of MOD1 teachings, I for one am glad to be able to review this material from a more experienced point of view and benefit from it. Thanks Ron. Keep em coming. I agree. Keep them coming!!!!!

| Re: Discuss the BOOM article here Great article Ron. As a matter of fact I practiced many of the mentioned senarios with my instructor during my mod 1 Evo training. I think off board plumming for your drysuit and bc inflator are a must especially for the Evo, considering you can rip through a 2l bottle in no time especially if it leaks. E
