I'm looking Inspiration Specific for me, so far I have: Quote: Mask removal and refit I was thinking that a list like that would be good to go through.Mouthpeice removal Mouthpeice clearing Dil Flush Bailout High O2 Semi closed O2 rebreather mode Bailout ascent Delayed SMB deployment Then have cards for each scenario to put in front of buddy face. ie HIGH OXYGEN 2.55 2.55 2.55 LOW OXYGEN 0.35 0.30 0.36 etc But do you think I should just have the PPO2 read out or the message as well? I'm creating a set of Inspiration type ones but I could add in extra ones and we could have a set created that covers all eventualities maybe?

| Curmudgeon Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Prompt Cards Jeff Bozanik has a set like that, that he used for the course. I don't know if he made them or got them from some where. Had a bunch of scenarios to parctice along with some questions to answer on the spot like "what is the PO2 of your dil at this depth?" "It suddenly becomes hard to breath, your ADV isadding on every vreath and your relief valve is dumping on every breath" The student then had to demonstrate exactly what he would do. There were also cards that showed the handset screen like you showed above. While we were doing the drills at catalina, an octopus walked by, right in between us, Jeff tried to get it to do the drills too, but he didn't want to play.

I would think that from a skills perspective it's probably better to have just the PPO2 presented on the drill card, as this is what you'll see if it's for real. If it's a reading that is accompanied by an alarm it may be worth just putting Alarm and the PPO2 figures on the card. HTH Simon A |

| Re: Prompt Cards Lol...this reminds me of the last drills I did on my MOD 1 course.. ..the instructor came up to me and waved a prompt card in my face ...which was blank! Was not quite sure what he wanted so looked at him and shrugged my shoulders... he grunted and waved at it at me again...so I just shrugged my shoulders again....but now wondered whether he meant I have a blank screen on my handset...a valid excersise but not actually one we had planned or even discussed. By now my instructor was getting a little agitated and waved it again. I took it from him and pointed it at him... .... didn't realise you could swear so clearly on the loop!! Flipped the page and I got 2.1 - 2.1 - 2.1 |
