Best rebreather manual

Have started my meg course (copis ) yippe !
Im useing the ANDI manual.. wow what a excellant manual.
Lots of interesting facts , good start up on the basics and loads of well taken pictures.
Even if your not a meg diver its still worth a place in your library.

Re: Best rebreather manual

Yes, ANDI does have some excellent manuals, it was the same with my KISS manual.
So much so that I got the Meg's just for reference.

Tried to buy the kiss manual, never happened.
Have just received the Hammerhead manual.. i like !!

Well done Andi .

Re: Best rebreather manual

Another good manual is Mel Clark's "CCR Trimix Simplified" even if you don't go all the way to Trimix. It will give you a perspective of the next step.

Re: Best rebreather manual

I have to agree I liked the ANDI manual (very informative) with the cool Meg pictures. However wouldn't it be great if we actually had DVD video's to go along with them?

I have really been enjoying Jill Heinerth's rebreatherpro video's (what a great idea) would love to see a full length video consisting of rebreather training. Would be very helpful to watch it regularly to keep from developing bad habits

Re: Best rebreather manual

I just got the ANDI "HH" manual Friday last week.
It's pretty well done.

My only question is why is so much of it done in metric.
If parts of it were written by someone outside the U.S. it wouldn't have taken much editing to convert it to imperial for the U.S. version.

That's my only gripe though, well other than the non-dive industry standard nomenclature. But that's always been a gripe I've had with ANDI.

Because metric is a better system?
