Congratulations to Thom Susko and Ashley Paterson, Brand new Meg divers!

Well done Thom and Ashley! We finished the course on May 11th 2008 with Graduation dives on the HMCS Yukon and the Ruby in San Diego. Thom is a diver with previous experience on Draeger rebreathers as well as a couple oxygen CCRs. Ashley is an experienced OC diver with OW instructor experience as well as Intro to Cave certification.

Thom purchased a COPIS meg second hand and had it converted to the new COPIS2 unit, which added a HUD to the system. Ashley was diving her new SuperLite APECS 2.5 Meg and the very first ISC released 5.8lb radial scrubber.

Both divers did very well in the course and finished with flying colors!

Congratulations Ash and Thom!...well done with the course, and as I surmise, great diving on the wrecks as well.

Hey! Since when is "Black" funky colored.

Of course you know that the funky colors are for those who are more secure with thier manhood... or uhmm womanhood . Anyways... thanks for the kind words everyone. Was a great course and Ron did a great job instructing us.

Re: Congratulations to Thom Susko and Ashley Paterson, Brand new Meg divers!

My meg has been "Powered by Pepsi" since a year and a half ago december and its two year birthday present of new anodizing. Funky colors are a must.

This was a very fun course to teach, Thom and Ashley were two of the most prepared and motivated students I have had. Its easy to teach a course with good students who work hard.
Need a few more meg divers in So Cal so Thom wont be quite so lonely.
