Re: mod 1 mod 2?

mod 1 although not the correct name is usually referred to as air dil max depth 42m minimum deco

mod 2 is normoxic trimix and as such has a 60m depth limit with a ppo2 on the dil limit of 1 bar.

hope this helps

Re: mod 1 mod 2?

I don't know what type of CCR/agency you are certified for/through but if I were to draw a parallel to OC training levels I would say:
CCR Module 1 = OC advanced nitrox and deco procedures, ~40-45m
CCR Module 2 = OC Extended Range (with or without normoxic trimix depending on instructor/agency???), ~60m
CCR Module 3 = OC advanced trimix, ~100m
Of course being certified for the equivalent on OC does not, in any way, qualify you for that particular CCR level as CCR training is unit specific as well as generally different than OC, but you already know that.
Hope this helps
