![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Using FreePlanner with Linux WINE Hi, I have tested FreePlanner with the Linux WINE program (WINdoze Emulator) and it appears to work fine (including setup) with the following not-too-important exceptions: (1) When you enter the depth field in the main window it only handles 2 digits correctly, though it isn't hard to work around this (2) The SAC rate is by default set to "20.0" even if the units are imperial, resulting in enormous estimates of cubic feet of gas used. Suggest change this to 0.6 in the Preferences. I expect that the version of WINE needs to be reasonably modern, mine is the one which comes with Mandriva 2007.1. All the best, Charles Read. |

![]() | Re: Using FreePlanner with Linux WINE Hi Charles, Yes, unfortunately, REALBasic's support for Linux is what I would refer to as 'incomplete.' But, as soon as Mac and Windows are nailed, then I will work on the Linux version. But that will come after the CC version is released which is what I'm currently working on.Thanks for your report.
