Cheers Nad Well, since I never took a course and am always confused....... Truly: All we're dealing with here is a simple aid to memory for old fashoned VSC. It's hardly anything new, but any simple way to be able to do the math in your head is a worthwhile trick to know. The F02 tolerances cited seem pretty narrow... far narrower than *I* would worry about. I'm lots more interested in staying concious.... and I'm *not* gonna dump molecules of 02 into the ocean just "because". Dave

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: CCR Trimix Simplified by Mel Clark question The only one which to me has shed some clarity is the one in DIRrebreather Manual II. It is very simple to calculate and do underwater (not just at home). Which you refuse to articulate, apparently thinking that it's a trade secret, so thanks for contributing *nothing at all* to the conversation. Red blob sent accordingly for *not offering information that might assist one of your peers here to save his life*. Sheesh: Do I have to write it myself? These forums are for *sharing* information. It's not a one-way pipeline. Contribute, or... <innermost thought not published in order to preserve decorum>. Methinks you're not a good shipmate. Dave .

![]() | Re: CCR Trimix Simplified by Mel Clark question You will not violate any copyright law by discussing a bailout method in your own words, if it was so then every agency, training organisation and instructor would be violating copyright laws daily when discussing dive rellated issues, methodes or facts. My 2 cents.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: CCR Trimix Simplified by Mel Clark question I understand your view and I agree with it and with sharing information, but I am not the one who made copyright law and not the one to break it either. Bullsh!t.Rebreather World T&C do not permit and cannot condone breaching copyright laws either (otherwise RBW as "publisher" gets in trouble). So, your red blob and argument for it is uncalled for. I have "offered information that might assist one of my peers here to save his life" - buy and read DIRrebrether Manual II (and DIRrebreather Manual I as well if you are a Newbie). Hey mate, Happy New Year (and dispose of your old flares appropriately without causing unnecessary alarm or distress to the Coast Guard)! Stop hiding behind "copyright law". You are permitted to make short quotes of any published work for the sake of discussion, as long as you cite the original source and as long as it is no more than a few sentences (i.e. you can't quote a whole page). No-one asked you to scan the pages and post PDF's. You were asked to paraphrase the material. It seems apparent (from your own posts) you do not understand the material sufficiently to paraphrase it. So then quote small parts of it with appropriate reference (title, author, publisher, copyright date). Otherwise, you are just a noisy gong (show). -S |
