A lot of CCR divers that certify on vacation miss out on the opportunity to dive the hell out of their new unit after, coz they fly back and have all sorts of real world stuff to get on with back home. The Mod 1 course is really challenging, and frequently requires extra time for the student to master dive skills and fixing equipment glitches. By going a week early you'll get the absolute maximum bang for your buck. If you do run over, you have a whole second week surrounded by a veritable 'brain trust' of CCR guru's, to iron the kinks out on a whole new set of dives, which will only help to build your competence and confidence. You'll see 60 different ways to do anything on CCR and you'll carry that knowledege with you forever and you'll make friends you can dive with all over the world. It'll also give you the opportunity to take a day off if you need one and most people do. You'll go home exhausted and elated having got the most out of your training, and will be a better CCR diver for it. Have fun. See you all at Inner Space 2009. Seb
