| Re: CCR Cross Over Training If I gave you a Boris and you had never seen one before you wouldnt know how to assemble prep and dive it safetly - period. Then that would mean that the manual provided with the unit sucks?I am pretty confident, I could do all above by reading example Sport KISS manual. Safely? Well, it is a matter of debate considering I have no prior experience with any rebreather but since the question is about crossover, I think most of the people who have commented could. If not, manual is not worth the paper it is written on. /esc |

| Re: CCR Cross Over Training Still it would be interesting to know what it says on the C-card. If someone pays for a course he would want both relevant proof of certification and good training material. Maybe it just says "CCR" or "mCCR" and he would be fine also in the future on other units! That one I can answer from IANTD side:'rEvo Rebreather Diver' Instuctor: Rasmus Lauritzen Sadly they dont track certs, otherwise I would have been no #00001 Nicolai

I'm out. paul Paul is quite right. I had dived the rig all summer, did the Doria on it... was totally comfortable, but still learned when Paul came to work with us. Little things... but of value. "Tricks of the Trade" as they say. And Paul is quite right in this too: The thread is exhausted. Dave

| Re: CCR Cross Over Training OK. I have, during my travels, been keeping an eye on this and think the thread contains some good information and viewpoints but has run to its own demise. So I am going to close it. If anyone has something burning and relevant to add to this thread PM me or anyone else on the Staff and we will open it, where necessary. Cheers, Dave Cooper.
