Re: NEW CCR TRIMIX MANUAL by MEL CLARK

This is probably going to get me flamed but why not publish the manual as a downloadable pdf book?

It is easier for everyone (instant gratification) and you never run out of stock...

Maybe it's easier said than done but it may be an option....

Dive safe,

Celia

but who the hell is Mel Clark?

but why should I be listening to him?

Hi Simon, let me introduce myself, I'm Mel!
I’m just another rebreather fanatic and instructor. I have dedicated most of my life energy for many years writing and teaching CCR’s. My focus in my writing is to make it as easy to understand as possible. I hate nothing more than trying to read a manual that makes no sense or worse yet gives you mathematical examples that are not explained. I have read quite a few manuals like this in my time. So in my spare time (ha-ha that’s a funny one right Curt??) I have taken on writing some rebreather manuals. I have written the TDI KISS manual the soon to be released revised TDI SCR manual, the soon to be released Official ISC Megalodon manual, and of course the CCR trimix simplified manual. All that said I am merely offering some CCR trimix procedures and suggestions, I do not expect anyone to blindly follow any information. It is my hope that this book combined with professional training can make better trimix rebreather divers and perhaps increase all our safety out there. Hope this helps.
Cheers
Mel

You'll have to excuse my ignorance - maybe we're too far behind the times down here. I'm always willing to learn something and and this sounds like a good read, but who the hell is Mel Clark?

I assume he's not a photographer in Charlotte, or anything to do with baseball, but why should I be listening to him?

If she did half the job that she did on the KISS manual it will be well worth making a spot in your library.

Re: NEW CCR TRIMIX MANUAL by MEL CLARK

thanks for that Mel. I wasn't trying to be funny, but you know there's a whole lot of info out there and I just want to be sure I'm listening to the right people. (I might ignore what they have to say, but I will listen)

The printer missed the finish date by a couple of days, they tell me that some of the run will be ready to pick up on Monday.

Thanks for being patient!!!
