Talking Mod1 completed-anyone want to DIVE?

Hi all,
Completed my Inspiration Mod1 course with Andy Abery last week in Upminster and Stoney! Andy has ALOT of rebreather experience, his enthusiasm is great, and he is very happy to share his extensive knowledge - Thanks Andy!

The long road of gaining practice and experience
starts now...

Is there anyone who is in a similar situation as me (or maybe a more experienced diver who would enjoy having a laugh) and be interested in going diving with me? Mid week even?!

My marvelous plan to get away for a quick trip abroad to get some hours in, didn't work out.

Here's hoping someone wants to play!

John-Paul

(Living in Surrey, but VERY willing to travel....)

Thanks to those of you who welcomed me onto the forums back in March, and to everyone for the knowledge I have gleaned from working my way back through the old posts.

Re: Mod1 completed-anyone want to DIVE?

Hi, I may be interested a bit later in the year. I am in Wiltshire but we could meet up on the South Coast. I have juct completed my MOD1 so we are at about the same level. Not done a lot of UK diving, most of mine has been warm water. But I promised myself that I would try to do more murky cold dives this year. Drop me a PM if you are interested. Cheers, Andrew.

Re: Mod1 completed-anyone want to DIVE?

If I'm in the country I am always up for a mid week dive. Also in Surrey but just taken up residence in Weymouth too... and a lot of the boats there go out during the week.

Was in your position 18 months ago and found RBW excellent at teaming up with divers for dives.. I used to post a proposed day and venue on here (esp Vobster etc) and usually managed to arrange one or two others for a dive.

Best of luck

Steve

Re: Mod1 completed-anyone want to DIVE?

I lived in Wiltshire for some time (44 years) and dived the YBOD at Vobster, now I am out in Adelaide diving it in clear warmer waters trying not to be eaten by the sharks.....

Come and dive it over here?
