| Re: Should the controller continue to maintain setpoint if you bail out to OC? The only event I can see me going off the loop for a period of time then back on is an electronics failure where I might do my O2 deco on the loop at 20ft. In any case I don't see where electronic are going to maintain a viable loop that is not being breathed. The gas in the loop is stagnant and the gas present at the sensors might not represent the PPO2 elsewhere in the system. I would accept anything that wouldn't kill me. ![]()

| Re: Should the controller continue to maintain setpoint if you bail out to OC? I voted for .21, but what I prefer is something a bit below this but above .16.. This would allow some error for cell linearity issues.. The HH uses 0.19, which is a reasonable choice.. This way if the person switches the controller to oc but fails to get off the loop, it will at least try and keep one that can sustain life.. And the value is low enough that really screwed cells wount cause excessive operation of the solenoid even on ascent.. The low setpoint or even a 0.4 is a bit high for my taste.. This is a bailout situation and the diver is telling the controller that he/she is supposed to be off the loop..
