Re: Any one using the rEvodream PPo2=HUD monitor? I'm also diving a rEvo for few month now. Yes, you can calibrate and put the unit to sleep. Calibration data will be effective as soon as you wake up the machine.

Calibration data will be effective as soon as you wake up the machine. and to put it a bit more correct: calibration is effective as soon as you have calibrated the unit, and stays effective until the next calibration, even if you put the unit asleep or take the batteries out.. (wich you don't as they last minimum 250 hours awake and +/- 10 years asleep:-)to my opinion there is no reason to calibrate each time: good cells don't fluctuate all the time: if they would, you could not rely on them during diving. I see how they behave during diving, if they stay close together. once and awhile during deco I go to +1.6 PPO2 shortly, to see if they all go high enough. before a dive, I flush 2 times with oxigen (not necessarily to 100%) and I verify if the 3 cells are close within 0.03 PPO2: is so: no need to calibrate regards paul

| Re: Any one using the rEvodream PPo2=HUD monitor? What I do now most of the time : I start the dive at 100% O2 on the boat. Gauge are around .99, if they are not I make a calibration, if there is no change I try to solve the pb. After I go to 3 m on O2, gauge must be around 1.3, if they are I continue to 6 meter alway on O2, gauge must be around 1.6, if they are I flush to 1 or less and go deep. It's possible a cell have a problem in the two hours which come, but probably not a calibration pb. By going to 6 m on O2, I'm sure O2 tank is open. By flushing at 6 meters, I'm sure diluent is open. That takes some time, but the more I dive rebreather the more I take time for little things. ![]()

Re: Any one using the rEvodream PPo2=HUD monitor? Hi Jacques, You do not have an adv on your revo, or you have a flow stop and you block the ADV from 0 to 6m ?? Best regards Lilian

Re: Any one using the rEvodream PPo2=HUD monitor? Now that he is diving a rEvo2, he has an ADV. No flow-stop, just the valve to shut off. As I bought him his rEvo1, I do not have an ADV but it's quite useable.

Best regards Lilian if you feel it coming (or before), just add some oxi (better not to close dil during descent :-) regards paul

Re: Any one using the rEvodream PPo2=HUD monitor? Hi Paul, I am ok with you it's better to let the ADV on, so you have to go down with full (of near that) couterlung, so you need more weight for that at the beginning of the dive or you always have a line couple with the bottom to pull. no ?? Best regards Lilian

I've an ADV on the rEvo II and I shut the diluent from 0 to 6. At 6, I flush, so I need to open it. If I don't shut it and if gauge don't give the right value I can't be sure I've not put some diluent in the counterlung.During the ascent, generally I shut the diluent at 6 meter, but sometime deeper, it depend. As said Tino, rEvo previous version have no ADV, I don't really see a difference between open a tank or press a button to obtain diluant. On rEvo, tank valve and injection button are very close. The best way is probably to have a shut valve only on the ADV (and not on the injection) but at this time it's not easy to do on our breather.
