| Re: My new shearwater.... There is a breakdown on my website at http://www.rebreather.ca You may need to refresh. The computer costs $1,300 US and is useable as an OC/CC air/nitrox/trimix computer as is. The standard computer includes a Fischer connector and the pin out is compatible with existing VR3 connnector cables. It also include dive logging, but you need to buy the PC download software. Ross Hemingway offers it for $25 on his website at http://www.hhssoftware.com/shearwater If you want to connect it to all three sensors on your KISS, there are connection kits available, or you can make your own. The HUD is a completely separate and self contained product for $700. It comes with a connector that will screw right into your connection kit for a 15 minute installation. Or you can make your own connection. It doesn't require the computer to work. Does that all make sense?

I just use their triple connector. Why only two connectors for the classic? I look forward to seeing the pictures. Louis The older Classic KISS's didn't have a wire connector. They had the tubes. So I made a custom kidney with a screw port on it. I now put two ports on it for the computer and the HUD. The new Classic kidney's use three wires, and the connectors are right, but there are no connections between the cells, so I still need to provide a kidney. I haven't had a close look at the new kidneys to see what it would take to use them.
