| My home built VR3 mounts Why the VR3 Mounts? I got tired of the weight of the VR3 on my wrists and I needed a way to keep them in place. I didn’t like the compression strap on my wrists (bend potential). I was always worried about banging the computer on stuff as I was crawling through a wreck. When I picked up the second VR3 for a back up, I then decided it was time to do something different. ![]() I’ve seen a couple of different styles of mounts in Cayman and came up with a plagiarized version in Stainless Steel and a custom style in Aluminum. I wanted a mounting device that would not interfere with the Inspiration handset and could be taken on and off easily and would fit well in my carry on. The functionality of these mounts is that with a quick turn of the wrist you see your handset and then the VR3. The aluminum mount can face the same way as my m aster handset so they both can be viewed with out flipping. They are clipped to my chest D-ring and up tight so both VR3’s and handsets are protected and out of the way. They weren’t particularly hard things to build and I spent one afternoon in the shop building them. HB

What you all think? 2 things 1 I think this is definatly something to be concerned about - maybe you can strap the hose in straight somehow which might actually help it 2 I get a kick out of how many people on this list post with - "I went into the shop on the weekend and came out with this......what'dya think " Bloody fantastic - keep up the creativity I bet boring golfers never say that .....
