HS Explorer Problems

My HSE is turns off and then back on again when its jarred and sometimes even with movement has anyone else had this issue before? I tried cleaning the contacts but it didn't help at all.

Check the tightness of the battery cover. I think the second O-ring should be just tucked out of sight.

I see you solved it, but for other peoples benefit, both over and under tightening can cause problems.. Overtightening it tends to cause problems when under pressure..

The second (outer) o-ring should just be in the case just enough to make a seal.. A good preventavie measue is to put some conductive grease on the outer part of the battery tang (side opposie the batter) this insures good contact to the ring inside the battery compartment.
