I dont know why you would call it a "meg Clone" that format has been around for many years.. The older shadow pacs, and even the UT-240 from 1992.. mounted the tanks to the cannister and used right to left flow..Remember we are still working with the same principle of scrubbing the air ! Next gear change is to get the stuff that that Israeli guy patented last year where you extract the air from sea water as you swim. Now that is cool. the way gene does the gas inet alows him to dump water from the cannister easily.. But it doesnt really look pretty.. The DSV's used were purchased (through Oxycheq) from old (unused) ANDI stock (dont remmber the exact count but there was a box of them) from some earlier projects in the late 90s.. even check ou this link http://www.rebreatherworld.com/41565-post33.html from 1996, its a KISS style unit which today people are calling a CCR but back then it was considered an SCR..

| Re: Neptune Explorer (NX) I know this is an old thread... I have a Neptune CCR. Gene has made improvements to prevent flooding. They are now oil filled. I actually find the computers easy to use. |
