| Who loves ya, baby ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: OMG electronically controlled CCRs The only two electronically controlled OMG rebreather I'm aware of are the Nemesis and the Castoro Explorer, both prototypes afaik. The Nemsis had OMG electronics, was a dorsal mounted unit and shared several bits with the Azimuth. I don't know the status of the project. ![]() The Nemesis prototype took center stage at their booth in 2003 ![]() The O2 tank is inside the case, the diluent softmounted below ![]() The display was machined from aluminum and combined digital display and 5 LEDs for setpoint monitoring. Three buttons on top controlled the electronics. ![]() The black box mounted, oddly enough, in the lid of the case contained the electronics and custom battery pack. Another OMG eCCR was shown at OzTek in Australia. One of two prototypes (the other being the manually controlled Castoro Abyss), the Castoro Explorer is loosely based around the frontmounted O2 CCR. Reversed gas flow through the scrubber, front mounted O2 tank and rear mounted diluent (like the Nemesis). The unit shown had the Hydrospace setpoint controller installed. Pawel is the guy to fill you in on that unit, maybe even other OMGs. Other aftermarket electronics could be adapted too, like the HH (for MK15 - comes with an electronics box).

| Re: Azimuth electronics OMG was producing an ECCR, money was taken from buyers, however they were paid to return all deposits and produce the unit for the Military (I wasn't told which one). There plans for an ECCR is unclear at this time. |
