![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | HH Delrin Handset Issues Good News! Since getting the new model Delrin HH handset I have not had a single problem. In the past I have owned two different versions of the HH Handsets and I have had access to a third. I had to follow (as did many other posters) a very frustrating learning curve to figure out how to keep the batteries from dying mid dive in the old handsets. I finally settled on changing a AA battery with every scrubber and/or every dive day. This method was successful. I have mentioned this frustration and what I did on the forum in previous posts. When I got the delrin handsets the first thing I wanted to do is determine if the same problem continued. To date I have had AA batteries in the handsets for 12 hours of dive time without a failure in water temps down to 39F/4C. Clearly the problem seems to be corrected in these delrin handsets. I complained when things were not right and now I need to give credit when its deserved. Kevin thanks for fixing this problem which I believe is the single biggest concern expressed on this forum regarding the HH electronics. John |

I'd probably still be diving a HH if I didn't have so many problems with the aluminum handsets.Since getting the new model Delrin HH handset I have not had a single problem.
