Inspo Classic Hammerhead wiring and O2 add question..

Anyone can help with a wiring diagram for Hammerhead on classic inspo? I have B series hand sets, am considering flicking the primary but keeping the secondary (which is great) and the HUD (which is great) while adding CFM. Before I totally stuff everything up, would like to know how the head is wired, esp under the potting, and in the sensor junction box. I envisage flicking both the solenoid and the primary - and blanking them off.

I have driven the unit manually using the secondary and the manula O2 Add on the C/L and like it. Would prefer to have CFM and really but don't want the primary hanging around doing nothing (especially as it turns itself off 9 times out of 10 anyway).

The jury is out on the O2 add path as well - anyone changed from O2 addition on the inhale side to the O2 addition into the exhale side and how they did it would appreciate it (aside form the standard O2 add on the CL).

Cheers

Talk english man.

I can't figure out what your asking clearly enough to give an answer (if I am capable of giving one). So please explain more details.

Also, the standard O2 manual addition is on the exhale CL on the Classic Inspo.

Translated into American-English

He want's to remove the primary controller from the hammerhead and just kept the secondary. To convert the Inspo to a MCCR I know some people have tapped a thread in the counterlung T piece and connected it up to a Kiss valve or even a Meg copis hose. Thanks but actually I am not American. I come from one of the other former colonies so a Canadian-English translation was needed.

Clear now. I would suggest he call JM and discuss it.

Hey there...

The reason you might be having reboot issues on a Rev. B is the type of battery you're using, or the cleanliness of the battery cap threads.

There are quite a few Rev. B's still out there working away...

Anyway, to your original question - The wiring from the Primary and HUD merge under the potting to go to the Banana Block, which itself is completely potted. The cable we use is gas/water block, and is not available through normal channels, so you'd have to buy some from us (which is no problem, we'd sell it to you).

But undertaking the task is going to be messy...

Drop me a note: kevin@rebreather.us

if you have any questions. I'll be happy to help.

All the best,
