| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | VR3 parts for repair need help! This weekend my VR3 left button broke and did not function at all. When I removed the left botton i found that the plastic was broken off behind the magneto so this was the reason why it did not work. When I opened the VR3 there was salt and corrosion residues inside the housing at the 2pin fischer contact and it seems to come through the thread between the fischer connector and housing itself. Does anyone had an issue with water coming throught the fischerplugs outsdie into the housing? I would need to replace the Oring behind the front glass but the manufacturer refuse to sell this sparepart and i also like to replace the 2 Orings that seal the depth sensor. I will also need to get 2 new Buttons with springs and the small circlip to mount them since i removed both buttons and they are ruined. Who is the local dealer for VR3 in Sweden anyway? Is there any dealer that can supply me with parts for my VR3 or help me with pin upgrades. The manufactirer seems to only like to replace the buttons if i pay for a whole service and this will cost alot of money! (hope i managed to hide the fact that im jumping from frustration with the answers i got from the manufacturers support and how dissapointer i am with this product)

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Hi! For the buttons, is no problem, that I have in Stock. I also can provide you with PINs. But if you have open the VR3, there is no possiblility for selling the o-Ring. The VR3 must be back to factory. Send it back to the factory - might be a warranty issue unless you've breached warranty conditions. In any case, they do a really quick turn around. When I removed the left botton i found that the plastic was broken off behind the magneto so this was the reason why it did not work. You could consider buying the VR parts from a distributor, apart from the O-ring. For that, take the old one as a sample and go to a pump / seals / etc. place that stocks O-rings. It will surely be a stock size that yuo can then buy dozens of and sell to all the other divers who open up their VR3s!I would need to replace the Oring behind the front glass but the manufacturer refuse to sell this sparepart and i also like to replace the 2 Orings that seal the depth sensor.
